SHE (Sanitation, Menstrual Hygiene and Women
Empowerment)

We are pleased to share the successful completion of key initiatives supported by the generous contribution of Mr. Sid Mookerji. The following
milestones have been achieved across Mysuru district:

1. Sanitation Infrastructure Development

40 toilets were constructed across 10 schools (4 units per school) located in HD Kote, Mysuru, and Hunsur taluks.

These facilities have significantly improved the hygiene and sanitation conditions for students, especially girls.

2. Menstrual Hygiene Awareness & Support

Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Camps were conducted for adolescent girls in all 10 schools.

Approximately 700-800 girls received free reusable cloth sanitary napkin kits, promoting sustainable menstrual practices and reducing
absenteeism.

3. Educational Support under the SAC Program

150 children from underserved backgrounds have been supported for their education, enabling continued learning and school retention.
